Nobody knows the exact number of stars in the universe, because we don’t know the boundaries of the universe! However, some scientists have tried to estimate the number of galaxies in the universe, and infer the total number of stars based on the number of stars in the galaxies we know. So here we go, according to the European space agency, there are about:

      100 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 stars in the universe 🙂
