I work with marine animals, and plants like seaweed too. Crabs, mussels, limpets, barnacles, anemones, worms, sea squirts and sponges are the animals that I deal with the most. In University College Dublin I work in the marine ecology lab. Everyone in this lab runs experiments just on sea life. There are loads of other labs in UCD too. Some other scientists there study animals from lakes and rivers, some study Irish mammals like squirrels and deer, and some work on extinct animals like dinosaurs by studying their fossils.
