• Question: @sean What was your favourite animal you caught

      Hhhmmm tough one! I think it would have to be a bird and I’d have to say it was a Puffin. They’re brilliant birds – so funny looking! We caught some as part of some research on the coast of Wexford. They’re very tough little birds and can give you a nasty bite with their big bills of even scrape you with their tough claws.

      My favorite one is actually very small its called a Pseudoscorpion. The reason it is my favorite is because I love finding unexpeccted things and learning about them. You can find Pseudoscorpions in Ireland in the soil (dont worry they dont have a stinger and are only millimeters long). We found it with some other insectes much much large then it was but dispite this it was able to fight them off. Iv yet to see an animal as agressive and pluky as that one!
