The real answer to this is humans. We are certainly the most dangerous mammal even when you consider bites (a football player is more likley to be bitten by lous suarez then a swimmer is to be bitten by a shark!). I wont go through the stats but we are certainbly our biggest danger. In a simalar sense in terms of what mammal is likley to pose the biggest treat is probably dogs in terms of bites per year which is 4.5 million per year in the USA alone!
However the most dangerous mammal (after humans) in my opinion is actually the Hippo. People dont tend to think of these as dangerous but they kill 3,000 people per year, which is more then lions (~70), tigers (~100) amd elephants (~1000) put together. They do this because of thier agressive behaviour attacking boats and people in thier territory often without being provoked.
