• Question: do you like the T.V show big bang theory

      I do, I especially like Sheldon. However while there might be some thruth in these shows most scientists are usually normal enough people (with just a hint of wackiness)!

      I’ve never seen a full episode, only small parts, and I think but it’s a good thing that, as scientists, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. So I’m all for shows like that! But I agree with Kevin, we are not all mad scientists in white lab coats that talk only about the solar system or mathematical equations! We have other interests too 😉

      I really like it 🙂 My friends dressed up as Sheldon and Amy for Halloween! As a scientist, I do talk to my friends about the animals I work on and the experiments I run but that’s definitely not ALL I talk about. Its important to have other interests, like sports or fashion, so I don’t become a total nerd like Sheldon!

      I have only watched bits and pieces… It’s pretty fun, but I hope I am not as nerdy as Leonard or Sheldon!
