• Question: If an atom collided with a piece of dark matter at high speeds, what would occur?

      I’m no physicist so probably not the best person to answer this question, but it is true that dark matter and atoms interact regularly. In fact, dark matter particles may regularly pass through us, and dozens to thousands of these particles may be colliding with atoms inside the human body every year!
      But dark matter is still one of the biggest mysteries of the Universe! As to what would happen at high speeds, I have no idea, but if you simulated this kind of collision in an experiment, we could learn far more about dark matter! 😉
