      Hi there!
      Well, it’s always good to keep a critical mind when thinking about these things, but I really don’t think this is the case. The Ebola virus was actually first identified in Africa in 1976. Hopefully with the efforts of the international community, we will combat it soon. Hope this answers your question!

      Wow, that’s an interesting and quite scary theory. Unfortunately in the past people in power have used disease causing agents like chemicals and radiation to try and control countries populations by making them sick. But I think in the modern world this does not happen, the united nations would not let this happen. Scientists can trace the spread of Ebola from bats and primates to humans back to 1976. It has been occurring in different parts of the world since then, but the pandemic in West Africa is the largest outbreak ever recorded. Someone, or some organisation, would have to be pure evil to try and spread this virus to kill people. I really hope that the current outbreak was an unfortunate accidental event, and that treatments are discovered soon
