Think about your regular day, from the minute you wake up to the minute you go to sleep. You unplug your phone from the charger. Scientists think of ways to create energy, not just from fossil fuels but from new sources like wind and wave energy. You wake up and you eat breakfast, lets say cereal and milk. Food scientist add nutrients and vitamins to your cereal to make it healthier for you. Animal scientists study cattle to optimize dairy production. Next you log into Facebook. Computer scientists created this website. You probably travel to school by car or bus. Geologist study Earths resources and find out where sources of oil are to create petrol. If you cross a bridge, engineers design that bridge to make sure it is stable and safe for you to cross. When you get to school you might have a sore throat, so the nurse give you some medication. Scientists discovered this medication.

Without even realizing, science is a part of your every day life.
