      Huge scale question! Scientists are still puzzling over this, but I’ll do my best: current estimates are that about 23 percent of the universe is dark matter (some invisible material surrounding a galaxy and holding it together) and about 72 percent is dark energy (something with an antigravity effect, causing the rapid expansion of the Universe). Everything else (normal matter) is squeezed into the remaining few percent!
      Normal matter consists of the atoms that make up stars, planet, cats and dogs!
